The curtain rises on the new Citroen C3, the best-selling of the French brand, that has now reached the third generation. After selling 3.5 million copies since launch (back in 2002), the transalpine supermini is renewed to win younger clients, and does it completely, both in style and technological contents, focusing on the originality and customization. The design is unusual but the Airbump and the headlights are taken from C4 Cactus, however maintaining its own identity, while the interior is available in four environments, with different color choices and finishes.
As for the engines, the French car is available with the 3-cylinder Pure Tech petrol and diesel BlueHDi units, combined with the manual transmission and, soon, also with the automatic.
And then there is something new: the ConnectedCam, a small high resolution camera integrated in the rear-view mirror, equipped with GPS and 16 GB of memory, which allows you to take pictures or film the road. Actually it not meant to be protected in case of an accident but to be more and more “social”, as you can share files through an app on your mobile phone. However, in case of need, also saves images.
Waiting to find out the prices, we know that the new Citroen C3 2017 will arrive in dealerships starting in November.
