Here is the new Mercedes AMG GT R 2017, an extraordinary car, presented at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2016, and inspired by the Nürburgring. Just to pay homage to what is probably the most difficult track in the world, here is the unusual color of the Stuttgart car, inspired by the legendary “Green Hell.”
With a weight of only 1,554 kg (one hundred pounds less than the GT S) and derived from the GT3 competition car, the Mercedes AMG GT R is characterized by the bumper made of carbon fiber, the rear wing and the new vents, while by pressing the “Race” button they change the inclinations of the appendages on the underbody.
Speaking of the engine, the Stuttgart supercar is equipped with a 4-liter V8 Biturbo with 585 HP and 700 Nm of torque, paired with an automatic dual-clutch tramissione and 7 gears. Performance? Obviously spectacular: the sprint from 0 to 100 Km/h is completed in 3.6 seconds, while top speed reaches 318 Km/h.
