Here is the new 555RR, another special car by Garage Italian Customs car, the brand founded by Lapo Elkann and world famous for the ability to customize and make unique the “normal” four wheels. This time we have a unique vehicle, created by GIC for Renzo Rosso, founder and shareholder of the brand Diesel and (according to Forbes), the 11th richest man in Italy, with a fortune estimated at 3.2 billion dollars.
Based on a Fiat 500C, the 555RR is a “customized” project, featuring a special exterior paint gloss black with silver glitter, to give this car a unique brilliance; around the front and rear light clusters we have then Swarovski crystals, while the central strip along the hood and the tailgate is in matt black. We find a bit of color, instead, with the red of the details of the front bumper grille, the board of alloy wheels and hubcaps, these customized with the logo Garage Italian Customs.
The interior is a homage to the Diesel world, with a central seat covered in a stylish Foglizzo black leather with a diamond pattern, combined with details in black denim and Foglizzo Lord leather, characterized by its great softness; to give a more “rock” touch then we find the pleated leather on the outer edges and the leather laces used in the side seams. The dashboard was then characterized by a hinge zip inserted above the glove compartment (on the passenger side) and by a tongue identical to that which we find in the jacket details. Continuing with the “tour”, we also find the denim fabric on the door panels and gearbox, the latter equipped with a special red knob that brings, instead of traditional gears, the series of letters that make up “Enjoy”, ever present word in the works of Renzo Rosso. The roof, finally, is completely covered in Foglizzo black leather with diamond pattern.
