Who, as a child, has ever dreamed of driving a real supercar? Today, thanks to McLaren, this desire can be realized, although not really at a cheap price: the British brand has presented its P1 in toy format, fully electric and able to sprint from 0 to its maximum speed (less than 5 Km/h) in “only” two seconds.
Compared to the actual McLaren P1, the variant in miniature offers a central driving position (as the legendary F1) and even the sunroof; equipped with ignition “Stop/Start” button, the P1 toy also has lights, air conditioning and MP3 player, already programmed with the most popular nursery rhymes. As for the transmission, the little pilot can use three gears to move forward and also a reverse to go back, if it were to carry out some ”parking lot” maneuver.
Unlike the real supercar, the mini-P1 shows a single model and color available (the Volcano Yellow), and is also the first product of this type officially licensed by the brand, in addition to being, of course, the most compact car to be able to show the McLaren logo.
Available from the end of the next month of October (in selected dealers of the brand in the world and then in the best toy stores), the McLaren P1 electric toy has a list price of about 375 Pounds (about 435 Euro).
