On one occasion traditionally reserved for American news, as the NAIAS in Detroit, Kia is great protagonist with the official presentation of a global news. The lights of Cobo Hall will be mostly concentrated on the exciting Kia Stinger, an innovative “Gran Turismo” that redefines a concept well known to the most prestigious European premium brands.
This particularly innovative model is Kia’s most powerful car ever produced in the history of the brand and combines high performance with traditional practicality and quality typical of the Korean brand. Kia Stinger will be available in the US market in the coming months, while more surprises on the European market are expected within days.
Talking about design, in Stinger we recognize the GT prototype legacy that inspired it. The design is the work of the Frankfurt Style Center, under the supervision of Peter Schreyer, Chief Design Officer of Kia Motors; while the responsibility of the dynamic characteristics has been entrusted to Albert Biermann, head of the division’s engineering team Vehicle Test and High Performance Development, working in Korea and at the Nürburgring dedicated site.
